Jill Knight & Chi McClean in concert at Sculpterra Winery
These are general admission tickets (Sculpterra is selling discount tickets to its wine club members). Concert begins at 6pm; doors open 5pm. Folding chairs are provided. Wine will be served by the bottle or glass. Complimentary snacks will be available. Show is scheduled to be presented outdoors in the sculpture garden, but will be held indoors in case of rain. Jill Knight's soulful sound is unmistakable. A native of Savannah Georgia, her music delivers a southern texture blending Americana, blues and weaving in a little R & B. She's a longtime Central Coast favorite, heard regularly on The Krush 92.5. Her many awards include a nomination for the LA music awards "Best Female Vocalist", finalist at the Telluride Troubadour competition, finalist at the National Academy of Songwriters "Songwriter of the Year" contest, finalist in Billboard Magazine's "Best Unsigned Band" contest. Jill has toured and shared stages with India Arie, Shawn Colvin, David Wilcox, John Prine, The Doobie Brothers, and many others. Special guest Chi McClean turns heads with his flashy guitar work and soulful vocals. Currently based in Nashville, Tennessee, Chi writes acoustic rock songs marked by a haunting Southern style. Many of his songs take a straightforward look at love, loss, and in the end, opportunity. Influenced by Jimi Hendrix, The Black Crowes, Free, The Faces and The Allman Brothers, Chi's music borrows from the classic tones and song structures that formed the pillars of the 1960's rock scene, but in a style all his own. http://www.chimcclean.com
