Grass Identification: Tools and Techniques
Peter Warner, Pepperwood consultant and expert floral taxonomist, will offer this two day workshop on the identification of grasses, emphasizing species common to interior Sonoma County.
He will also discuss the distributions of species and their ecological niches and consider the array of human and wildlife uses of grasses.
Bring food and other necessary personal resources, along with magnification devices for field use, notebooks, pen and pencil, small-to-medium sized bags, cellophane tape (or quick-dry glue), and cameras.
