Spring Stargazing at Pepperwood
With the magnificent ringed planet Saturn highlighting the heavens, the skies of Spring are on full view. Under the experienced leadership of Bing Quock, California Academy of Sciences, and Ron Dammann, Fremont Peak Observatory, practice your wayfinding skills using the stars, follow the longest of the constellations, and through powerful telescopes view the celestial treasures that are found against the constellations, including star clusters, galaxies, and the Owl Nebula. Dress warmly and bring a red-lensed flashlight and binoculars. Class is cancelled if sky is overcast or inclement weather.
