CQS wants YOU! Columbia QuadSquad Rollerderby girls host Tragic City Rollers

Join Columbia's insatiable roller derby team November 21st, 2010 at Jamil Temple for the bout CQS wants YOU! The doors open at 4:00 and track side seating fills up fast! This is a double header folks with our home teams battling it out for the first time ever. CQS would like to introduce for the first bout the Capitol City Vixens and the Spawns of Skatin'. These are the CQS league's home teams début so come out and support these foxy ladies and hell's minions. For our main event we have the Columbia QuadSquad a-team vs. the Tragic City Rollers. The Tragic City Rollers are coming up all the way from Birmingham to take a crack at beating the undefeated South Carolina State Champions for both teams final bout of the season.

Tickets are $12 at the door or $10 in advance from your favorite rollergirl, 2G's, the Whig, and Brownpapertickets.com. Kids 10 and under get in free! A Portion of the bout proceeds will go to the Wounded Warrior Project. WWP is a non-profit organization. Its mission is to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded warriors in this nation's history, to raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs of injured service members, to help injured service members aid and assist each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.

Roller Derby is an up close and personal sport and track side seating is at your own risk. As usual there will be food and beer available at the venue.
