Please Join Us for the Visionary Viewings Film & Lecture Series
The Visionary Viewings Film & Lecture Series is a youth-led community engagement and fundraising initiative organized by GV's second year program, the Youth Board. The program is comprised of 6 teams that learn to lead their communities in creating social justice and addressing global issues. Each month from January to June, one team of youth will select and present a film and speaker on a topic of their choosing for the Global Visionaries and greater Seattle Community.
On the 29th of March, Visionary Viewings will be screening "abused: The Postville Raid". Following 5 personal stories of individuals, families, and the town that survived the most brutal, most expensive largest immigration raid in the history of the United States and serves as a cautionary tale of government abuses.
