BIG VOICE FUNDRAISING SCREENING
BIG VOICE: A year in the life of a demanding high school choir teacher who pushes his students to become "one big voice" in this inspiring musical documentary.
BIG VOICE follows Santa Monica High School choir director Jeffe Huls and his most advanced ensemble. Mr. Huls' passion for the choral arts and music literacy fuels his desire to exceed all standards and expectations. It's a story brimming with musical performances as it interweaves slices of life, interviews, and multi-camera coverage of masterwork performances to engage and entertain.
BIG VOICE was filmed on location at Santa Monica High School. All proceeds from this screening will go toward completion costs.
Following the film will be a Q&A with Director Varda Bar-Kar and Choir Director Jeffe Huls.

Parking is available at the the Santa Monica Civic Center and the Civic Center Parking Structure (the "colorful garage"). Price varies.
The Santa Monica Civic Center lot may be entered off Main Street, or turn left off 4th Street onto Civic Center and go straight.
The Civic Center Parking Structure is located at 333 Civic Center Dr. (corner of Olympic Drive and 4th Street) is entered off 4th Street. Turn left at Civic Center Drive and turn right into the alley. Enter the Civic Auditorium Garage on the right.
To reach Barnum Hall, walk across 4th Street and take the walkway between the Doubletree Guest Suites and the track. Cross the outdoor basketball courts to the sidewalk, and walk up the hill. Barnum Hall is the large yellow building on your right.
