Eighth Grade
Nisse Greenberg found his 8th grade yearbook and it sent him spiraling into memory induced angst and neurosis. He then decided to share all that angst and neurosis on a stage as an adult. Eighth Grade is, simply, an exploration of what it felt like to be Nisse Greenberg during eighth grade, and an analysis of how that experience has shaped the adult that attempts to function in normal adult society now. Come to the show to experience what it's like inside Nisse's mind as he attempts to find his origin story.
Nisse Greenberg is the storytelling curator at The Tank. He has created and hosted Drawn Out Storytelling, VHS Presents, and Bad Feelings. He also teaches storytelling for The Moth. Nisse's "commitment to the storytelling craft is infectious" according to the Future of Storytelling which makes him sound like a virus you want to have. His playground is at nissegreenberg.com
