Mighty Uke Day 5 Workshop - Stuart Fuchs: Fingerstyle for the Ukulele
Whether you're just getting started or have years of experience with finger style playing, this is a workshop you'll want to attend. Stuart shares some of his secret techniques and tips passed on to him by master classical and flamencoguitarists Mir Ali, Joanne Castellani, Michael Andriaccio, as well asgrammy winning cellist/composer David Darling.Learn how to develop an effortless technique offinger styleukulele and a smooth tone. You will learn to improve yourcommand, fingerindependence as you learn common accompaniment patters for country blues ("Travis picking"), bossa nova, flamenco, and more.Open to ALL LEVELS of player, but can be modified to be more advanced upon request. (If you play with your fingernails, it is recommended that you bring a set of nail files - course, fine and 1500 grit sandpaperso Stu can share his tips on shaping & caring for the nails)
