MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING - November 15 & 21
Want to know What's So Funny? Come to our reading series and find out. On November 15 & 21, we present the classic Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare. On November 14 & 22, we present Island by Kevin Brewer, a new comedy written in Shakespearean style that embraces and twists Shakespearean archetypes and situations. After each reading, a panel of New York theater scholars will lead a talkback discussing how the plays create a cultural exchange with each other and with a contemporary audience. And if that isn't enough to tempt you, buy tickets to any two performances and get a free glass of wine at each show.
