CulturalFest Reception, Silent Auction, & Performances
CulturalFest is a true celebration of the world's diversity! Produced by the Student Board of The Foundation for International Understanding Through Students (FIUTS), CulturalFest provides an opportunity for students and scholars from more than 35 countries to share art and cultural items from their home countries. Visitors browse country booths, try international activities, and talk with students during the day, when the booths are free and open to the public and to field trips from local schools.
In the evening, more than 1,000 guests are expected to enjoy music and dance performances of both traditional and modern artists from around the world. The 2011 CulturalFest Performers are:
Southern Cross, Music from Chile Husky Wushu Team, China Silk Strings, Japanese Koto Ensemble Natya Indian Dancers Delshodeh Dance Ensemble, Persian Circle Student Association Sayaw Dance Troupe, Philippines Made in Taiwain, Pop Music Barvinok Ukrainian Dancers UW Klezmer Band, Eastern Europe
A pre-event reception provides an opportunity for a select group of supporters to preview the country booths, bid on unique silent auction items, and meet the performers while supporting FIUTS Student Leadership Programming. Artist Reception tickets include admission and priority seating for evening performances.
Cultural Booth Exhibition is free during the day. Artist Reception tickets include appetizers and beverages, a silent auction, and access to exhibit booths. Evening performance tickets include exhibit booth area starting at 7:00 pm and during intermission.

Adult Tickets $15 Performance / $45 Reception
