Emotional Listening in Scenes and Longform
Most Improvisers begin their Improv Journey learning how to bring to bear their analytical minds in their learning Character, Scene and Format. We follow Yes And, we discern patterns of conversation and behavior and invest in them and we indulge the analytical voice in our minds as we play moment to moment in our Longform. Joe will show you a different way to LISTEN to yourself, each other and the piece as it's unfolding in order to bring greater depth and dynamic to your characters, scenes and Longform. You will also get to experience the Psychology nerd in Joe and the one inside yourself that you may or may not even be in touch with in order to be present in moments in a fuller, deeper way. Characters are made of Actions, Words and Emotions, come see why Joe emphasizes your emotional existence in Improvisation in order to serve yourself, your scene partners and your Longform to the fullest.
