From the Bavarian beer houses of his native Germany to "Manhattan, America," to Hollywood - one day, and one lady, at a time - Andreas Beckett unfurls his heartfelt, candid life story with song and dance under the masterful hands of legendary Mitzie and Ken Welch in a special one night performance Wednesday, November 3, 2010.

Written by Andreas Beckett and Mitzie Welch. Andreas Beckett is an accomplished international performer whose work includes stage, film, television and opera. He made his TV debut playing Hitler on Saturday Night Live, followed by his acclaimed portrayal of Macbeth at the American Theater in NYC. He also played the lead in his first film, Empty, by Micah Herman, earning the Audience Award at the DGA in L.A. He played Richard III in Richard III, Modigliani in Modigliani, Dracula in Dracula, Radcliff in Radcliff, the American premiere in NYC, Gustav Klimt in Alma at the L.A.Theater, the leading role in Charlotte, directed by Louis Fantasia, at the Met Theater, and in musicals such as Cats, West Side Story, La Cage aux Folles, Pajama Game and Carousel. He just completed working with Robert Zemeckis on this new project Petit. Other films include Poseidon and Lionsgate's current Gamer. Recent operatic appearances: The Duke in Rigoletto, The Prince in The Student Prince, Florestan in Fidelio, Tamino in The Magic Flute, Spoletta in Tosca, Tony in Masterclass at the Santa Barbara Theater Company.
Directed by Mitzie Welch with Musical Direction by Ken Welch. Mitzie & Ken Welch have written/composed/produced TV Specials for Beverly Sills, Bob Hope, Placido Domingo, Hal Linden, Linda Lavin, Ben Vereen, Whoopi Goldberg, Bea Arthur, Carol Burnett, Lucille Ball, Robin Williams, Dudley Moore, Ray Charles, Dolly Parton, Lena Horne, Tony Bennett, Barry Manilow, Cher, & Barbra Streisand, plus 7 seasons on The Carol Burnett Show. Between them, they have 14 Emmys. They put together Barry Manilow's "Music & Passion," now in its 4th year in Las Vegas, & won the 2003 L.A. Stage Alliance Ovation Award for "Songs My Mother Taught Me", starring Lorna Luft. At the Montreux International TV Festival, they won the Golden Rose for "Julie & Carol @ Carnegie Hall," the Bronze Rose for "Sills & Burnett at the Met," both of which also earned them Christopher Awards.
Musical accompaniment is by Pianist Mikael Oganesian.
