An evening with Joe Kurmaskie

This year`s Metal Cowboy Holiday Spectacular should be just that. Joe is bringing stories and images back from all over and he has not one, but THREE new books to share!

He'll have the tenth anniversary of Metal Cowboy with five new stories and an updates section - you`ll finally discover what happened to the blind old rancher who dubbed him the Metal Cowboy and much more. Just in time for the holidays, he'll also have "You Might Be A Cyclist if..." daily affirmations book - humor with a chaser of inspiration here and there. And he`s launched his own publishing wing, Cadence Press, with its first title, "Joy ride: Pedaling Toward A Healthier Planet" by Mia Birk and Joe Kurmaskie.

More excitement will come because Joe`s currently on a business exchange project with Akel Bags. He and the family are on a year-long adventure in Quebec, and already he`s cycled through floods, rode tandem with famous cyclists to pick apples, and taken part in the hard but meaningful work of building the North American Bicycle Retreat and Conference Center. He`s working with some of the best known names in the bike world on this exciting new venue (Camp Creative East), on 50 acres outside of Sherbrooke, Quebec.

Come out for laughs, come out for inspiration, but just plan to arrive early to get a good seat - last year`s spectacular filled the room!.
