The Boston Indie Showcase 2011, Presented by PAX
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE BOSTON INDIE SHOWCASE
The Boston Indie Showcase is made up of independent games to be exhibited at PAX East 2011 (March 11-13, 2011). Taking submissions until January 15th, 2011, our judges will cull the selection of games into what they collectively feel are the best in regard to gameplay, originality, and overall fun-factor.
SUBMITTING YOUR GAME FOR CONSIDERATION
In order to have our panel of judges consider your game to be in The Boston Indie Showcase, you must do the following:
A. Submit the official entry form (the thing you are reading right now).
B. Submit the $50 submission fee via Credit Card at the end of this form.
C. Mail any special equipment or hardware to Penny Arcade, 123 NW 36th Street, Suite 210, Seattle, WA 98107, noting the title of your game on the package. Keep in mind this stuff isn't getting returned unless you make prior arrangements.
D. Upload a copy of your game to an accessible location (a secured FTP is preferred) or mail a physical copy to our offices. Instructions will be provided at the end of this form.
Keep in mind for 2011 we are specifically looking for fun factor and a great gameplay experience. Yes, art, audio and stunning visuals can certainly affect the experience, but we aren't dishing out individual awards for those categories.
Those selected to be in The Boston Indie Showcase will be notified via email by February 21st, 2011.
