Fundamentals of Self Defense and City Safety for Teens
It's a big ole city out there, and we love it, but it's not always safe. This class is meant to help the participants to see potential threats on the street, the L train, alleys, parks and even their own neighborhood. Teaching the very basics of self defense and decision making. Techniques will come from Orion Couling's style of mixing law enforcement maneuvers and aikido. Guest artist may come and introduce aspects of other styles of self defense. Learn how to use pepper sprays and basic escape techniques meant to give the disadvantaged the upper hand.

Time: 2:15-3:30pm
Weeks total 6, April 15-May 20th
Location: EDGE HQ (Orions Apt 5805 N. Ridge St, New EDGE parents are welcome to stay in the kitchen and have tea. It is recommended as a closed class.)
