Ben Hur
On Saturday, April 4 at 2 pm, join us as we screen the 1959 classic film "Ben Hur", starring Charleton Heston.
Winner of 11 Oscars including Best Picture and Best Director, William Wyler's epic surrounds Judah Ben-Hur, a Jewish prince and merchant in Jerusalem at the beginning of the 1st century. Judah is betrayed by his old friend Messala and is sent into slavery, later regaining his freedom and returning for revenge.
Tickets are $7.00 per person, all seats and all ages. They are available online, at Seastrand (919 Linden Ave., by cash or check only) and at the theater box office one hour prior to showtime.
The run time for "Ben Hur" is just under 4 hours. We will have a 15 minute intermission and there will be snacks available for purchase during the film.
