The Best of the Hometown Hootenanny
The Hootenanny is a year old! The monthly live music series, focusing on country, folk and bluegrass musical styles, celebrates its one-year milestone with a performance that includes some of our favorite guest artists and performances from the past year.
Sensational young bluegrass musicians Northern Departure will blaze the stage, along with entertaining bluesman Reggie Miles, 12-string guitar virtuoso David Lee Howard and 13-year-old singer/songwriter Dakota Neuman. Local musicians Rick and Jim Barella offer an Everly Brothers tribute, and Brian Bohman joins the Hometown Band for some rock 'n roll.
Speaking of the Hometown Band, the Hootenanny's own talented group of musicians will reprise audience favorites from the past year's shows as well.
The Hometown Hootenanny is a family-friendly event, presenting live music and a variety of entertainers in a classic venue in downtown Everett. Emcee Mike McFadden keeps the audience entertained and engaged, and the show format is relaxed yet professional.
