Jon Langford & Skull Orchard with Chris Mills
Recent visiting artist to our gallery, Jon Langford returns with his Skull Orchard project which weaves the Americanisms he has been rehearsing over the years with the Mekons, Pine Valley Cosmonauts, and Waco Brothers. The New York Times says, "Smart, cynical and still impassioned about the state of humanity, Langford has recharged his music by stripping away any indulgences." He's joined by Chris Mills, who pushes powerful chamber-pop, channeling Nilsson and Haskins through the lens of the southern countryside.
