Plot Summary:
By Dave Hudson - Music by Paul Lipman. Directed by Dale and Barb Stafslien.
"Cheeseheads" is a touching and joyful modern day "dairy" tale. The story revolves around the lives of fellow workers at Schnaybel's Famous Cheese, a family-owned factory. Their beloved founder has passed away and there are rumors the factory may shut down. With typical Wisconsin good humor, the workers carry on while keeping their fingers crossed that something better will come their way.
The story is somewhat narrated by Thursday, the jack-of-all-trades of the factory. He is always in the background, but never speaks. The leader of the factory is Dan, the supervisor of the production line which includes: Gizmo, a worker obsessed with technology, Bobby, a local football star, and cheese culturist, Doc Muenster. Natalie is the perpetual friend to all on the production line, and, last but not least, the only outsider, Melanie, a corporate specialist brought in to make the factory more efficient and productive.
