The John Langan Band EP Launch Party
Ladies and Gentlemen we are incredibly excited to invite you to join us for the launch of our new EP.
This EP has been a while in the making, and now it's finally come together we would be delighted if you would come and celebrate with us! For this special occasion we have booked the incredible Islington Assembly Hall, original 1920's music hall complete with sprung floor!
Also playing on the night we have some of the UK's finest Folk musicians:
Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin
Winners of the 2014 BBC Radio Two Folk Award for Best Duo, Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin are one of the most exciting and innovative duos to appear on the folk/roots/acoustic scene in recent years. With a rapidly expanding following and a truly unique sound that effortlessly spans many genres, the duo have been touring constantly for the past three years, winning new fans of all ages wherever they go.
Ross Ainslie and Jarlath Henderson
Individually they're two of the best players around but collectively they create a chemistry which is almost
magic. This duo have fast become one of the most talked about combinations on the circuit. They are not
only vastly talented but have created a sound that is bursting with emotion and energy - a fusion of pipes
and flutes which pushes the boundaries of what the instruments can achieve in a performance which is a
vibrant mix of new and original compositions along with traditional tunes.
It's set to be a magical night!
