ACA Bluesapocalypse
The doors of the Arlington Center for Arts Theatre open at 6pm on Saturday April the 11th, for an evening of blues, r&b, flamenco guitars, soul, jazz, and even more blues with four of the most diverse and interesting local musicians and bands including: The Peter Parcek Band, Bees Deluxe, Rosemary's Baby and the Tokyo Tramps. Each band brings their services to help raise funds for the Arlington Center for the Arts, a vibrant hub for visual and performing arts. Blue Ribbon BBQ, Sam Adams and Chilly Cow will provide finger-lickin' food, beer and frozen custard all to benefit the Arlington Center for the Arts. Peter Parcek: Guitarist extraordinaire and master of the blues both ancient and modern. Named The 2013 NE Music Awards Blues Artist of the Year. The 2011 Blues Music Award Nominee for "Best New Artist". His new album, "The Mathematics of Love" is available now from Redstar/ VizzTone.
Rosemary's Baby Blues: A High-Energy Rockin' R&B & Blues outfit led by Rosemary Casey on saxophone.
Bees Deluxe: play 21st century acid-blues digging deep into the vaults of blues/jazz antiquity. The result is an effortless take no-prisoners-approach that wittingly captures the audience's hearts.
Tokyo Tramps: Bring Blues / Roots Rock / Americana + New Orleans Second line + Chicago Blues + Mississippi Delta + Asian Twist. Featuring Satoru Nakagawa on Guitar & Vocals, and Yukiko Fujii on Bass & Vocals.
