In this 4-hour workshop, participants will make short films using local flora as their animation medium. Using
16mm film leader, we will paste and tape a variety of plant materials onto film, discovering how these forms can
be animated in the process. By the end, each participant will have created a few seconds of film. We will edit
these individual pieces together and screen them the following day (see below). Tools and materials are
provided. Participants are encouraged to bring petals and plant parts.
