Naked Girls Reading Presents Fantasy
The Naked Girls of DC explore the mystical realms of fantasy in the month of March. Will we be the Mothers of Dragons, Queens of Fairy, or will we inhabit a realm both Muggle and Wizard alike? Join us, faithful squires, and journey far and wide on an epic quest the Bards will sing about for ages to come. It all starts at our home, the DC Arts Center. Cherokee Rose is delighted to return to DCAC with the lovely GiGi Holliday, Cherie Sweetbottom, and Alice Darling to entertain, seduce and even educate you March 13th at 10pm.
Last month's show, "Authors of the Rainbow", featured our Naked Girls sharing the works of influential as well as up and coming authors of color. We shared personal stories of why these pieces touched or hearts, why sharing these stories is important, and encouraged the audience to diversify their bookcase!
Mark your calendars for April 17th, when the Naked Girls will explore their musical side. We will share some of our favorite lyrics, the tales of how great musicians have risen and fallen and why music impacts us the way it does. Don't miss Music in the Buff! As a special treat we will be celebrating the annual trek around the sun of one of our Naked Girls and be honored by returning special guest Victoria!
*Seating is limited so presale tickets are suggested. There are no refunds on purchased tickets and late seating is allowed. Concessions with adult libations will be available at intermissions. DCAC is a cash only venue.*
