Mentor Dinner with Dr. Kathleen Merrigan, Executive Director of the Sustainability Institute at George Washington University
Join us on Wednesday, March 18th at 6pm for an exclusive Mentor Dinner with Dr. Kathleen Merrigan, Executive Director of the Sustainability Institute at George Washington University. In 2010, Dr. Merrigan was named one of Time Magazine's "Most Influential People in the World". She holds a Ph.D. in environmental planning and policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a M.A. in public affairs from the University of Texas, and a B.A. from Williams College.
Dr. Merrigan will discuss how she went from United States Deputy Secretary of Agriculture to her current role as Executive Director of the Sustainability Institute. She will talk about work/life balance and how to use your skills and talents to further your career.
The Mentor Dinner will occur at District Commons, located near the Foggy Botton/GW metro stop. Seating for this event is limited to six women.
