Oui, we are so full of joy that our daughter will be entering into the fine tradition of marriage with a young man who has a little animal in him; ses sauvage.
Entertainment at the event will be provided by a young upstart going by the name of V...oltaire. At first, when they told me Voltaire would be there, I was a bit perturbed that they had raised him from the grave given that his last words were, "For God's sake, let me die in peace." But, I must admit I was ambivalent, as he is such a hero of mine, and I do so love a rousing game of "Wake the Dead."
However, since the children have exposed me to this new Voltaire, I must admit to have grown rather fond of him. "When You're Evil" is such a delightful tango and Gomez does thrill me so, his singing along during the dips...
Which makes me realize, it has been hours since Gomez and I last danced--"The Headless Waltz" calls to me; adieu mon cheres.
