Tibet House US is a non-profit 501(c)3 educational institution and cultural embassy whose purpose is to help preserve and maintain the ancient traditions of Tibetan civilization. Tibet House US was established in 1987 under the auspices of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
This year we will give a portion of the proceeds to the Tibetan Children's Village (TCV), an integrated educational community for destitute Tibetan children in exile, as well as for hundreds of those escaping from Tibet every year. TCV was established in 1960 by Tsering Dolma Takla, the elder sister of H.H. the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala, India and has been the main school for Tibetan refugee children. We will also continue to give a portion of the proceeds to the Tibetan Community of New York and New Jersey.
