Uncle Bonsai & Christine Lavin: CD Release Concert
Uncle Bonsai and Christine Lavin are teaming up for a dual CD Release Concert at the Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship in Bellingham, Washington.
Uncle Bonsai is celebrating the release of their first CD in almost 10 years, The Grim Parade. This recording is a collection of live and studio performances, including "The Baby's Head," "Loving Tommy," "The Fish is In The Freezer," and 11 others, that showcases the group's unflinching portrayals on the passing of time, the passing of genes, and the passing of pets -- the truth of everything seemingly buried somewhere under the family tree.
Meanwhile, singer/songwriter Christine Lavin is celebrating the release of the brand new holiday release, Just One Angel. This collection of "new holiday standards" features performances by Uncle Bonsai, Janis Ian, Jeff Daniels, Kate Taylor, Lori Leiberman, Hilary Field, and many others. Officially being released October 19th, Just One Angel features 22 holiday songs that you'll never hear in an elevator.
