Revisiting Russia Through Rachmanioff
Seattle Peace Chorus presents Revisiting Russia Through Rachmanioff. Since it's Cold War origins in 1983, the Seattle Peace Chorus has been a beacon of peace through music. The Chorus has visited the former Soviet Union several times since then, as well as many other countries with its message of peace. Join us as we revisit our roots through the famous Russian composer, Sergei Rachmanioff. We will be performing the Rachmaninoff Vespers, in honor of this magnificent work's 100th anniversary.
