Lovers and Exotic Strangers: A Reading of Original One Act Plays
Please join us THURSDAY, June 11th at 8pm through SUNDAY, June 14th at 3pm at the Steamer Company Firehouse, 2nd Floor, in downtown Ossining, NY for an enjoyable evening of Play Readings for our 2015 season.

Before Delia will agree to move in with Oliver, in "The Ex-Factor" by Albi Gorn, she wants to know more about his ex-wife, Sylvia. Carol Mark explores where your thoughts will go when your subway ride suddenly stops being just another subway ride, in "Indelible". In Gabrielle Fox's "The Second Coming" A doomsday practice drill in a suburban survival bunker is interrupted by the rapture. Finally in "Terminal Love" by Pat O'Connor, a blind woman working as a cashier at a newsstand at the airport seeks independence from her overly caring mother.
All General Admission ticket holders are guaranteed a seat in the 50 seat performance space and are invited to attend a meet & greet with the artists in the gallery immediately following the performance. The net proceeds from this production will be used to produce more new plays through our unique development workshop for local theater artists.
The Westchester Collaborative Theater is a multicultural, cooperative theater company located in Ossining, NY, dedicated to developing new work for the stage and bringing live theater to our community. We are local playwrights, actors, and directors who employ a Lab approach in which new stage works are nurtured through an iterative process of readings, critiques, and rewrites. When work is ready for production, it is produced for the public at various local venues.
WCT is committed to furthering theater arts in our community. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and a recipient of production grants from ArtsWestchester and New York State Council on the Arts.
