Audubon EcoDiscoverers Day Camp (Grades 5-7)
Join Audubon Educators and fascinating guest scientists for a week of ecological exploration in nature's own laboratory!  Campers will be introduced to careful observation, ecological concepts, and scientific research through hands-on exploration.  Become an environmental steward through science and have fun too!  Each week will feature different themes and special guest scientists.

June 29 - July 2 The Wild Chorus
Spend a week to open up your ears and listen! The world around is filled with the diverse sounds of birds, rivers, and even automobiles. In this program, you will learn how to become a soundscape ecologist.  You will learn how to listen, record and analyze sounds as we explore the forest and river habitats around the camp. ***

July 6 - July 10 AquaLab
Sample stream water, aquatic organisms, and experiment with water.  Most time is spent outdoors along the Pomperaug River, our smaller creeks, and vernal pools.

July 13 - July 17 Survival Village
Each day you will slip into the wilderness of the Bent to live in a life-sized village built by your own hands. The days will be spent building forts, forging rivers, and seeking adventure as you solve challenges and learn to survive by relying on each other.

July 20 - July 24
Twilight Investigations 4-9pm Animals are most active when the sun goes down, so venture into the twilight with us to meet bats, owls, and beavers!  Campfires and twilight hikes will make this a magical week.

July 27  July 31
WOW! Wonders of Water: Campers will be exploring and playing with water in this physically engaging, problem solving, and laugh out-loud wet adventure.

Aug 3 - Aug 7 Wild Jobs Day Camp
