JOLLEY ON THE SPOT -Lisa Jolley has performed on Broadway in Hairspray, and can be seen on episodes of Law & Order: SVU, Sex and the City, and Hope and Faith. She has been an improvisor since 1990, having been a cast member/team player with Amsterdamâs Boom Chicago, UCB-New York, Don't Quit Your Night Job (a late-night show featuring Broadway performers doing improv after their shows), The Magnet Theater, Chicago City Limits, Sedan (directed by Todd Stashwick), and the original New York cast of Evente, directed by Armando Diaz.. She combines her love of improv and musical theater in Jolley On The Spot.
First performed in 2000 in New York City, Jolley On The Spot was originally a 3-part show, two of which relied heavily on the short form; it has since been streamlined into a longform musical. A solo longform musical. Jolley On The Spot has been performed in New York, Los Angeles, and two consecutive years at the Chicago Improv Festival.
