ARC Dance presents Nutcracker Sweets at the Leo K Theatre
ARC Dance brings the magic of The Nutcracker to Seattle Center's Leo Kreielsheimer Theatre ("Leo K") in the Seattle Repertory Theatre complex. ARC Dance Company members and students of Arc School of Ballet will give two performances on December 18, 2010, of this much-loved, child-friendly holiday ballet.
A favorite tradition for families across Seattle, all Nutcracker Sweets performances at ARC's own large facility in Ballard have sold out for the past 6 years. "This year, we are also bringing Sweets to the beautiful Leo K. Theatre at the Seattle Center," said director and choreographer Marie Chong. "The Leo K. is centrally located and offers a more traditional theater experience than the informal setting of the ARC Dance Space. We are very pleased to offer Sweets at both venues this year."
Specifically designed to appeal to young audiences with roughly an hour-long running time, Nutcracker Sweets will showcase the combined talented students of Arc School of Ballet and the professional dancers of ARC Dance Company. Children and adults alike will be transported to a magical world filled with toy soldiers, glowing Christmas trees, and spectacular dancing.
Tickets are available at ARC Dance (206) 352-0798 or www.arcdance.org
Ticket prices are $20.00 children (10 yrs and younger), and $30 for Adults. All reserved seating.
Performances held at: Seattle Center, Leo Kreielsheimer Theatre ("Leo K") 155 Mercer St.
