The Mikado presented by Marin School of the Arts
Gilbert and Sullivan are the undisputed masters of comic operetta and the proud parents of the modern musical. Their masterpiece, THE MIKADO, is a comic satire set in ancient Japan and it involves disguises, young lovers, haughty politicians, inefficient bureaucrats and a slew of loopy individuals confronting life and death situations. The wild antics of these characters will remind you of Monty Python!
