April 2015 Vancouver Program: Violence in the Workplace: Shots Fired
Between 1992 and 2012, there were 14,770 workplace homicides in the United States. This presentation will discuss how to identify warning signs and behaviors, biological responses to active shooter situations in the workplace, and how companies and individuals can, and should, prepare for worst case scenarios.
Guest Speaker: Diana Zolotko, Labor Relations and Human Resources Manager, Weyerhaeuser
Diana Zolotko has over 18-years experience in human resources management, and is a certified Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR), Certified Professional in Learning and Performance, certified in OSHA's General Industry Outreach Training, and is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychoneuroenodcrinology.
