Staged Reading: "HOLMES FOR THE HOLIDAYS"
"Holmes for the Holidays," a staged reading by Actors Collective of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes' short stories, will be presented March 20th and 21st at the Carl Cherry Center. Directed and adapted by Cindy Womack, these two mysteries pair Holmes and Dr. Watson (portrayed by Jeffrey Heyer and Thomas Burks) as they investigate the "The Case of the Blue Carbuncle" and unravel "The Case of the Dying Detective.
Primarily set in London, at 221B Baker St., these two pieces celebrate the friendship of Holmes, Watson and Mrs. Hudson, with wit and verve -- without a deadly overdose of treacle.
Friday and Saturday, March 20th and 21st at 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $10.00. 624-7491.
