Barefoot Chamber Concerts presents the Farallon Recorder Quartet
Barefoot Chamber Concerts continues its mission to help you start the weekend right. This Friday evening concert series is committed to musical excellence without the formality of the conventional concert setting. Concerts start at 6 p.m. and last 60-75 minutes without intermission. Light refreshments are available, and there will be ample time to move on to other evening entertainments.
On Friday, October 29, 2010, the first concert in Barefoot Chamber Concerts' third season will be the Bay Area recorder supergroup, the Farallon Recorder Quartet, (Letitia Berlin, Louise Carslake, Annette Bauer, Frances Blaker) playing a concert of timeless classics by Bach, Ciconia, Dornel, Lupo, Coperario, and many others entitled "Treasure Trove: Gems from your Great-great-great-great....Grandmother's Attic".
In the fabulous wooden acoustic of St. Mark's Parish Hall, refreshments as usual.
