Too much screen time can mean distractions, academic challenges, social-emotional issues, and loss of attention span. But nature offers a counter balance. Join licensed psychotherapist Isaac Garfield for a family workshop to learn how to build connections with the natural world. Activities include animal tracking and "owl eyes," and offer fun ways to increase attention span and improve relationships through interaction with nature. Learn what experts suggest regarding limits to screen time and a collaborative approach to involve children in determining rules for usage. For parents and children in grades 3 8.
