Sunday Share | "Las Fallas"
One of Valencia's most colorful festivals is Las Fallas. For days, locals celebrate while erecting elaborate fallas-complex cardboard and paper-maché structures bearing handmade figurines called ninots--which climb high into the Spanish skies. The fiesta ends in a blazing finale when these unique works of art are symbolically burst into flames and everything that is bad is reborn from the ashes for the new season.

MAIN COURSE Conejo en pepitoria--braised rabbit, lemon and egg sauce, mushrooms, and thyme Lomo de cerdo con leche--milk-braised pork loin
SIDES Refried chickpeas Chorizo, potato, and onion omelet
DESSERT Crema catalana--the Spanish version of the French dessert, crème brulée Pasteles de higo--dried fig and candied squash pastries
The cost of admission is only $52 per person including tax and gratuity and seating is limited.
