ABOUT THE MIXER Join us for a day of workshops and learning opportunities for young & beginning farmers! Workshop topics include:
Business planning for farmers with Chris Bodnar (Close to Home Organics) Co-operative marketing with Arzeena Hamir (Amara Farm) Soil Fertility Management and Analysis (Delisa Lewis) Organic Certification 101 with Megan Halstead (Halstead Farm) Cultivation and Pest Control for Berry Crops (Stephen Eng & Bonnie Zand) Livestock & Poultry Health (TBA)
We will also make time for networking and community building that always happens at our Mixers!
