The stunning explosion of rock bands from England in the 1960s, which has
come to be known as the British Invasion, is one of the electrifying and
influential moments in rock history. Film Archivist Bill Shelley opens his vault to
present rare performances of many of the most important British Invasion bands,
with a special focus on groups that have not yet been spotlighted in the Rock
Legends Live Series. Among the performers who will grace our screen are The
Dave Clark Five (Glad All Over), Herman's Hermits (Mrs. Brown, You've Got a
Lovely Daughter), The Animals (The House of the Rising Sun), Donovan (Catch
the Wind, Mellow Yellow), The Moody Blues (Go Now, Nights in White Satin), The
Who (early clips not yet shown, such as Happy Jack), Gerry and the Pacemakers
(Ferry Across the Mercy), The Yardbirds (Heartful of Soul), Manfred Mann (Doo Wah Ditty Ditty), The Hollies (Bus Stop), The
Zombies (Tell Her No), and more. The variety and talent that will be showcased make this a night not to be missed! Approx. 90 min
