John Lee Sanders
After a 9 year absence from the Great Bay Area Music scene, John Lee Sanders returns with an All-Star Band!
John Lee Sanders, comparable with Dr. John, Allen Toussaint and Ivan Neville, plays to standing room only crowds, but we are lucky enough to have him in this intimate setting! He plays a soulful mix of Cajun, zydeco, Gospel, funk, blues and swinging Old Time Jazz improvisational, and tight at the same time.
Joining John Lee Sanders will be:
- Garth Webber, Guitar, the most in demand guitarist on the scene, formerly with the Miles Davis Band.
- Peter Booras, of Santana, Doobie Brother, and Elvin Bishop fame.
- Willie Riser, on bass is now a long time, loyal resident of Oakland, and a highly respected member of the Bay Area Music Scene.
