Here's a chance to take another trip over the rainbow with everyone's favorite diva, Judy Garland! In a new cabaret concert specifically designed for the beautiful cabaret room Opus Underground in Salem, Massachusetts. Peter Mac swings once again demonstrating his award winning ability to recapture the magic , the humor, and joy of the woman who was unhesitatingly billed , reviewed and accepted as "the world's greatest entertainer."
Special Guest star for this run is John Mac as Bea Arthur and Ethel Merman. His critically acclaimed performance as Bea Arthur has been lauded by TV Guide, Entertainment Weekly, and NBC News. He will also be introducing a new character: Ethel Merman!
The performance features a sparkling selection of Garland Broadway standards and Broadway specialty numbers she never got to sing in real life. All seamlessly brought together with funny and touching anecdotes of her amazing career.
Opens at Opus in their Underground dinner theater for a limited run on all the Sundays in March at 7PM. (The room opens for dinner or drinks seating at 6PM)
There is a $20 food and/or drink minimum purchase requirement. Opus has a full menu available including their award winning sushi and the best of the North Shore Hamburger. Menu is available at SalemOpus.com. Gratuity is not included.
