The Idaho Jazz Society presents Rob Verdi & Saxophobia
Rob is one of the founding members of Side Street Strutters. His show, Saxophobia, offers audiences a rare historical glimpse at some of the most unusual saxophones ever made. It also pays tribute to many of the great jazz legends who contributed to the development of jazz and the popularity of the sax . Many different instruments will be featured in this presentation spanning over a century of music, including a slide sax, connosax and 6 1/2' tall contrabass saxophone. (http://saxophobia.net)
