BAAY's Repertoire Company Presents The Outsiders
Join BAAY for the classic story, The Outsiders, written by S.E. Hinton and adapted by Christopher Sergel. The Outsiders follows the story of Ponyboy Curtis, the fourteen-year-old narrator, who lives with his older brothers Sodapop and Darry, since their parents passed away in a car accident. They are all members of a Greaser gang. Other than being financially and socially disadvantaged, the Greasers' main problem is getting jumped by the Socs, the rich kids from the West Side. The tension between these two groups eventually puts Ponyboy Curtis and his best friend Johnny Cade in a bad spot, leading to a life changing moment that changes their lives forever. You won't want to miss the hard work of these students! Hope to see you there!
