Pericles

Pericles is a young Prince in search of a wife. He goes to woo a great beauty but her father has set a challenge for her wooers: whoever solves his riddle may take his daughter for a bride. But failure to solve the riddle will cost him his head. Many princes have tried and failed! When Pericles learns the truth of the riddle he is forced to flee. He is shipwrecked on another, happier coast and finds himself a much more willing brideonly to lose her too.
