The Greatest Shrinky Dinks Show + Auction on Earth

This two-day event will feature a quirky, surprising, and creative silent auction of art made by some of Boise's best artists to benefit the artists and programming of Surel's Place.

In case you've never heard of this Shrinky magic, or if you just can't imagine this pedigreed plastic being turned into anything but kitty cat keychains and rainbow necklaces, come to this event to be surprised: an art auction comprised entirely of pieces made of that groovy plastic craft material from the 70s. This auction will be full of truly beautiful and surprising works made by many of Boise and Garden City's most talented artists. The works will be highly collectible and, well, ridiculously amazing.

FRIDAY MAY 8, 2015 | 7-10:00pm*
Adult-only preview night with the Shrinky Dinks Silent Auction, artful appetizers, Payette Brewing beer, Cinder wine, Shrinky Dinks portraits, and appropriately bawdy burlesque and aerial performers. 21 and over. Includes admission to Saturday as well!

SATURDAY MAY 9, 2015 | 3pm-7pm*
An all-ages afternoon that will feature the end of the Shrinky Dinks auction, Shrinky Dinks portraits, and circus food, games, and performers, including a magic show for the kids (time to be announced).

WINNING BIDDERS
This is a silent auction, and winning bidders need not be present at the end of the auction. All winning bidders will be able to pick up art at the end of the auction on Saturday or from 11-2 on Saturday, May 15.
