ASHES is a Zombie origins story. Think 28 Days Later meets The Fly. Doctor Andrew Stanton and his team of researchers are on the verge of the greatest scientific advancement since penicillin-- an actual cure for AIDS. But when Stanton injects his formula into a dying young boy, who has been infected with an unknown bacterium, it is the perfect storm of nature and science. The boy dies, but not before infecting Stanton with an aggressive new strain of bacteria that begins to consume his body and enrages his mind. When the government seizes his research, Stanton struggles to develop a cure before itâÃ,ÂÃ,Âs too late to save himself and the rest of humanity.
