Praise for Urban Theatre Movement so far:
"The central confrontational question we're left with is "What would you do?" If your 10-year-old brother or baby boy was brutally murdered and you were given 24 hours with the restrained psychopath who committed the horrific act... The complex situation of a family being given the power to torture a felon is a whole breed of torture in itself." -Tony Bartolone, Huffington Post
"Mr. Rosenfeld offers a series of unexpectedly sympathetic portraits After the first few scenes, the audience began to laugh and answer back, cheering or rejecting the characters' choices." - The New York Times, about HANDBALL at SummerStage 2014
"Handball is a highly entertaining, well-acted, and thoughtful play that will get you wondering about your own attachments to this world, maybe even to the particular park you love." Lydia Kapp LifeInLA
""Handball" is a wonderful paeon to the Bronx, NYC, and the street life that flows within, amidst constant gentrification and urban renewal." LA Examiner
"Profane, funny, and packed with more crotch-grabbing than vintage Madonna, the current revival of Miguel PiƱero's prison drama "Short Eyes" at the Los Angeles Theatre Center burns with vivid life." LA Times Theater
