Hallow's Eve Fest with Sothis, Abyssmal Nocturne, A Band Of Orcs and more

Celebrating the darker side of music as we all prepare for Halloween we have assembled a line-up of black metal and death metal of epic proportions. This low-priced evening of mainly California bands terrorizes The Cheyenne Saloon for one night on Sat. Oct. 23 for what we've billed as a "Hallow's Eve Fest". Headlining the night is SOTHIS (Candlelight Records) a band of dark, heavy, symphonic, evil black metal with the image to boot that has been heavily requested by local fans to come to town. ABYSSMAL NOCTURNE are similar in nature donning corpsepaint and leather and spikes but are more raw and primal in their approach. A BAND OF ORCS from Santa Cruz look like something taken from the screen of a Lord of The Rings film - essentially monsters onstage performing some grand heavy metal - definitely something that should not be missed. FATALIST is a young band from the Santa Barbara/Oxnard area who strip it down and perform some classic old-school sounding Swedish Death Metal. RUINES OF ABADDON complete the out-of-state entourage with more grim black metal. Rounding out the bill are 2 of Las Vegas' own death metal bands in THE GENOCIDE ARCHITECT and IN THE FLESH.
