Working with Dreams - Dream Dialogue

Saturday Workshop : Dream Dialogue

In this interactive workshop we will explore an experiential and relational approach towards dreaming called Dream Dialogue that Machiel developed. This approach is rooted in Jung's view and also incorporates post-Jungian dream work techniques and other dream traditions. Machiel will demonstrate how dreams can be used as an awareness practice both at night as during the day. Bring a dream and we will also engage in practical dream work, too.

Machiel Klerk, LMFT : Machiel Klerk is a licensed mental health therapist with 20 years of dreamwork expertise. He followed a course at the Jung Institute in Zurich, Switzerland, and has a Master's degree at the Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara. Machiel is the founding president of the Jung Society of Utah and the Jung Platform. He also is a 'Utah affiliate of the Santa Barbara Healing Sanctuary'. He lectures internationally and gives workshops on dreams in Europe, Africa and the USA. Machiel developed his own style of working with dreams called Dream Dialogue, and he recently released a CD on dreams.
